Information Communication Technology (ICT)
It is an electronic systems used for communication between individuals or groups. Communication technology facilitates communication between individuals or groups who are not physically present at the same location. Systems such as telephones, telex, fax, radio, television as well as more recent computer-based technologies, including electronic data interchange and e-mail. Also, ICT is an umbrella term that includes all technologies for the manipulation and communication of information. The term is sometimes used in preference to Information Technology (IT), particularly in two communities : education and government.

The internet carries a vast array of information resources and services, most notably the inter-linked hypertext documents of the World Wide Web (www) and the infrastructure to support electronic mail. Computer Mediated Communication
It is defined as any communicative transaction that occurs through the use of two or more networked computers. While the term has traditionally referred to those communications that occur via computer- mediated formats (e.g: instant messages, e-mails, chat rooms), it has also been applied to other forms of text- based interaction such as text messaging.
